DELF and DALF are the official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify adult's level in French language. They are recognized worldwide and valid for life. They can be used for immigration to Canada, Québec, as well as for the admission to French Universities & in the process of Naturalization. 


DELF is the diploma for the levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. It is the acronym for Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française.​ 

DALF is the the same diploma for the levels C1 and C2. It is the acronym for Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française.

These levels are definied according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The exam lasts around 2 hours and half and consists of 4 parts : listening, reading, writing, and speaking
