About Kamal Musallam

Born in Kuwait on June 8 1970, from very artistic parents, Kamal was educated as architect and has went through various musical experiences of which were Arabic bands, Flamenco, Rock, Blues bands, Jazz sounds and got to know Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, George Benson, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola and Ziad Rahbani.


Kamal has lived in France, Lebanon & Jordan, where he establish his own label K&G and to produce his first album ON A JORDAN RIVER’S SIDE in 2003, opening the way to six other albums.  Kamal settled in Dubai on 2002 as performer and producer.


His main touring bands are Kamal Musallam Trio, Lulu Project, and EastMania. He is currently playing the nylon Silent guitar™ and has developed models with YAMAHA and IBANEZ. He performed on April 30 at the Amman Jazz festival
