What is the TEF?

The TEF or Test d'Evaluation du Français is designed to measure the level of non-native French speakers' knowledge, linguistic & communications skills in French. It can be required for Canadian Immigration, Quebec Immigration or simply for work. It is also recognized by the French authorities for the process of naturalization. The exam will be on a computer in our IT room. ​

  • You will be asked to upload your passport copy. No registration form required.

  • Seats are limited. Please note that registrations will ONLY be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

  • Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Fees are not refundable once registered.

  • Results available 4 to 6 weeks after the exam, you will be notified by email.

  • No diploma is required to take the TEF exams.

  • You can take the TEF exams as many times as you want.

  • The results certificate is valid for 2 years.
