Why This Exam
TCF Canada is the official French language proficiency test recognised by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as proof of language skills for immigration applications. Created by France Education International (FEI), it evaluates four core competencies — listening, reading, writing, and speaking — and is accepted for Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, family sponsorship, and other federal immigration streams.
